Makita envisioned a zero emission working environment with their wide range of DC Cordless Outdoor Power Equipment (DC Cordless OPE), as well as a clean and dustless working environment through our wide range of DC Cordless Cleaner & Vacuum Series.
The Solution & Results
We appreciated that we get the opportunity to implement our solution in order to revamp and restructure the Makita website with multi-lingual base (languages such as English, Malay and Mandarin) and its tools searching application. With over more than 660 power tools, 3300 product tagging names, 500 accessories and 30,000 parts, our team has to plan all data structure and flow for delivering the ultimate search result to users, from product listing, product tagging, product specification till products comparison.
Other than tool search application, we also refurbished the corporate content such as dealer information, corporate history, corporate news and etc. Based on analysis, the website is visited by an average of 1,000 new users daily and up to 56,000 page views weekly after the website is revamped.
